The Village of Stockbridge has appointed Jon Schulz as the Village Building Inspector.  The Village Zoning Code Administrators are Village Trustee, Tim Lemke and Village President, Amy Zahringer.

To reach Jon Schulz, a call can be put into his Chilton Office at (920) 849-9274 or email him at [email protected] to initiate the process for a building permit.  Please refrain from contacting the Village Clerk for building permits.  All permits should be obtained through Jon’s office.

Building & Land Use permits are required for many reasons; to protect you, your family, neighborhood and property values.  To ensure that the work performed is safe, that it meets standards and complies with the Village zoning and construction codes. They also help protect your property investment and minimize liability or problems during a future sale of your property.

PLEASE NOTE:  if you are altering the size of an existing structure or adding a structure, you must draw up a site plan that would indicate square footages, sidewall heights and setbacks to property lines etc.  Providing this site plan during the initial phase of contact with Schulz will expedite the permitting process.  The Village of Stockbridge operates under a Code of Ordinances and all of those Ordinances can be found on the CODE OF ORDINANCES tab on this website.  For specifics that pertain to Zoning, refer to Chapter 24 – Zoning and Chapter 25 – Shoreland Zoning.
